Hi, I’m Zeynep Ceren Ercan. I was born in 1993. I graduated from Istanbul University of Radio
TV and Cinema Department. I spent my life designing characters with pages of stories and
watching cartoons. Although I’ve always known that it will continue like this, I had no
opportunity to learn the technique of this work or to practice in this area.
Even I worked in the post production unit of my university, and managed to improve myself
to a certain degree, since I set my mind on the animation world, I couldn’t concentrate on
my own works. Even though I decided to get training at Anima School, I could only do it after
three years. I am so happy that my education at Anima School has met all of my
expectations, and I feel like I got a second bachelor’s degree.
I’ve spent 6 months full of technique and art. Under the guidance of Anima School lecturers,
I am currently working on my portfolio, and I am having absolute fun doing it. My goal is to
continue creating as a character and concept artist, to improve myself, and to continue this
profession abroad.
As I finish my testimonial, I would like to thank my lecturers Yasemin Baran, Sarp Pekün and
Eren Arık for expanding my horizons.
