Eren Arık

Born in Bursa, in 1983, Eren Arık always showed interest in creative arts and painting. To be able to turn said interests to a profession, he started to study cartoon and animation at Kütahya Dumlupınar University.

Beginning from first years of university, he started to work in professional projects. In the course of his illustration career, from digital painting to matt painting projects, he worked on many various projects for different studios.

After graduating in 2011, he stayed at the university for about 3 years and worked as a research assistant at his own faculty. Then he returned to the sector, and created many photorealistic works and 3D character designs for film and video game industries.

Besides illustration and digital painting, he continued to take interest in animation, music, traditional painting and video arts. He directed ‘The Traveler’, a short animated film in 2013. Eren Arık who also attracts attention with his science-fiction music works, continues to work as a freelance concept designer today, and shares his sectoral knowledge with his students at Anima School.
